8900 Series 8900 series is a half pitch (1.27 mm pitch) connectors developed for small size and thinness. Although it’s a one-point contact, high reliability is ensured by a followable contact structure with contact spring properties. Wide variations such as board to board (stack, horizontal, vertical connection), board to cable (flat cable, crimp cable), DIP type and SMT type are available. KEL harness assemblies:
KEL provides various cable harness products using half-pitch connectors. Such as, flat cables with 1.27 mm pitch and 0.635
mm pitch, 1.27-mm-pitch I/O cable, and discrete cables are available. In addition, as custom-order products, twisted flat cables, intermittenent type flat cables are available. KEL has developed harness technology and can provide not only the connectors alone but harness assemblies as well. KEL original insulation displacement contact is employed for connecting flat cables. 8825E, 8822E, 8925E, 8929E type with eject lock provides customers with harness products with excellent workability.
